How to request e-signature for multiple recipients in Acrobat Pro or Acrobat standard

Sending Files for Signature from Acrobat


Please follow the below steps to request for e-signature:

1. Open Acrobat Pro/ Acrobat Standard or login to official web application: acrobat.adobe.com

2. Select All tools from the main menu. If not visible save all open files and close then then restart Acrobat application.


3. Now scroll down and search for the tool named Request E-Signatures or alternatively search for the name in the top search bar in acrobat application then click on the open button.

4. Windows usrers can try the shortcut ALT + F + Q by pressing the keys on your keyboard in sequence from left to reight and holding them.

Selct the file that you want to use to send for e-signature

6. Check the following menu to see if the file type you are trying to select for sending is compatible with Acrobat or not in case of any issues:

7. In the dialog that appears add the email address of the user or users that you want to send the file/agreement to sign:

8. If you add multiple documents, the documents are converted into PDFs and combined into a single file. The combined file is opened for you to add appropriate fields.

Click Specify Where to Sign or Next to move to the next menu.

10. The document is now ready for adding fields that you want the signers to fill in or sign.

On the page that opens, select a recipient from the Recipients drop-down and then drag-n-drop the signature fields where required for that recipient.

This is where you will specify the fields that signers need to fill.

  • Fields such as Signature Filed, which you select ad specify which signer should sign where in the document.
  • Similarly, add signature fields for each recipient
  • On Acrobat Modern UI
  • On Acrobat Classic UI

11. When you've placed all desired fields in the document, click Send. The document is sent for signature to the recipients and a confirmation notice is displayed.

12. Signer's experience

A signer receives an email with a link to sign the agreement. Also, if the signer uses Acrobat or Acrobat Reader desktop application, the signer sees a notification that an agreement has been shared for signing. For more information, see Sign an agreement.

Note: Signers are not required to sign up or purchase any Adobe product to sign agreements. They can sign agreements using a web browser, mobile device, or Acrobat / Acrobat Reader desktop application.

13. Track agreements

You can track agreements that are out for signature, signed, or waiting for your signature.

FOR INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM USERS

Go to the Acrobat Home page > Sign > All Agreements.

FOR ENTERPRISE USERS

Go to the Acrobat Home page and then from under Agreements, select Adobe Acrobat Sign.

It opens the Acrobat Sign Manage page in a new browser window.
